Dear Parents,
Thank you so much for your recognition and gifts. It was overwhelming. I am wearing the watch as I write. You went way overboard and I feel a little guilty accepting such generosity.
Please know from the bottom of my heart how grateful I am. I appreciate you acknowledging me in the ways you do, but I am doing something I love and enjoy. However, I have to give credit where credit is due. My assistant leaders are awesome people and they work behind the scenes to make me look good.
Lastly, without parents such as yourself, none of this could be possible. Once again thank you for the wonderful gifts, but the best gifts of all are the Scouts who show up each Saturday.
