* Attire: Class A Uniform

6:00pm Arrival

6:15 - 6:50pm Den Break Out - Scout creation of Poster Board Flag, Skit

7:00pm Pizza dinner & games

8:00pm Movie "759: Boy Scouts of Harlem" A feature documentary about Scouting in an unexpected place by Jake Boritt & Justin Szlasa.

Yes w/ Boy Scout Popcorn!!!

Trivia Questions from Movie w/ Prizes

(Prizes include Black History Calendars, Winter Cub Scout Skull Caps, Marshmallow Shooter +more!)


10:00pm Cubs Tigers - Bears Sleep
10:00pm - 10:45pm Weblos Activity
11:00pm Weblos Sleep

SATURDAY 2/19

Attire: Class A Uniform (if scout does not have uniform, plain blue shirt, without words or logos if fine)

7:30am - 8:20am Continental Breakfast (cold cereal, fruit, Milk, Juice, Tea, Coffee)

If Parents would like to cook breakfast, please let me know and we should be able to accomodate!

8:30am - 9:20am Philadelphia Boy Scouts History Lesson & Tour
9:30am - 10:30am Den Programs from scout books with tie in for Black History Month
10:35 Snack
11:00am Departure

What NOT to Bring?

  • Phone or any hand held electronic game, reader, etc.

What to Bring?
  1. Sleeping Bag & pillow
  2. Flash Light
  3. air mattress (optional)
  4. Scout Class A Uniform
  5. Tooth brush & tooth paste
  6. Wash cloth
  7. soap
  8. brush or comb
  9. Snacks (if enough for at least your Den, better yet the Pack)
