Dear Scouts and Parents,

Hopefully those who attended Sunday night’s showing of ‘The Lion King’ enjoyed the showing despite the seating challenges.  While seating left a great deal to be desired I do believe the outing was a success in having a fun time for our Scouts and family.

We will be together again this Friday to attend the Phillies opening game.  We will be publishing details for that event soon.  Again, we had an enormous amount of interest and turn out and another sell-out event. I do want to thank Mr. Victor Morrow, President of our Parents Committee for his outstanding working in coordinating this event.

This was a very rare occasion when a parent has stepped forward and handled an entire event from beginning to end.  He did all of the administrative and coordination work and it was greatly appreciated.

I need to also take the time to thank Mr. Darwin Beauvais and Mr. Joel Wilson.  These two gentlemen and Cub parents have stepped forward to become our temporary Cub Leaders.  They will complete the last two hours of training to become fully fledged trained Den Leaders.  They have already taken reins of the Cub program and are running with it.

To all of the other parents who have chipped in this year I want to thank you also.  This has been one of the most challenging years I have had in leading the program, but all of the parents who are helping us succeed are making the job easier.  I cannot thank you enough for your support.   Thank you for your patience and thank you for your support of Scouting,

As a reminder, there will be no meeting this Saturday 3 April due to the Easter holiday.  To our Jewish friends Happy Passover!

Yours in Scouting,
