As you know, there is a Bowling Party scheduled:

 

Saturday, March 9, 2013, 5 pm – 7 pm, $15 pp

Wynnewood Lanes

2228 Haverford Road

Ardmore, PA 19003

 

Please respond if you need a ride for your Scout to the bowling party.  I am assuming that many parents will drop off and pick up their Scout(s) at Wynnewood Lanes since there is no regular meeting that day.  However, please let me now if that is not the case.  We need to determine whether we will need the church van and extra parent-provided transportation.  A non-response will be interpreted to mean that your child will not need transportation.

Subject: Boy Scout Transportation to St Joseph's Swimming Program

Hello fellow Boy Scout Parents,

I am writing to request assistance with transporting our Scouts from St. Thomas church to St. Joseph's University pool and back (about a 5-minute trip each way).  The swimming program will be starting up again on 1/19/13.  Please sign up for at least one, preferably two, of the Saturdays listed below.  The church van is capable of transporting about 10 Scouts; however, there are usually about 10 more to be accommodated – which translates into at least 3 vehicles, maybe 4, depending on the count.  If we can arrange transportation over the next few months, then all of our guys can attend the swim program comfortably. 

 

Please respond below to this email by entering your name and number of available seats in your vehicle.  Typically, the requirement is to leave St Thomas about 4:45pm (swimming time frame is 5pm – 7 pm) and then the Scouts are picked up at St. Joe's at 7:00 pm and transported back to the church.  If you prefer to contact me via phone, my cell phone number is listed below. 

 

Also, thank you to Ms. Rivers and Ms. Stanley for providing needed transportation on Saturday to the AMC Springfield 'Lincoln' movie; your help was greatly appreciated!
